Heal your soul

The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the harmony of the soul create the symphony of life. (Iyengar)

For me, body, mind and soul are interconnected with each other and I cannot see these three areas of my life separately. For that reason I love the quote by Iyengar, which expresses the connection of body, mind and soul and how this creates the symphony of your life. This to me shows that we need to take care of all areas of our life. We need to design our life in a way that we see results in all areas of our life. The minimum requirements however in order to live a successful life for full happiness are for me:

  • Feeling and tuning into my body.
  • Understanding and observing my mind.
  • Healing myself holistically whilst integrating my soul.

This is a holistic approach that works perfectly for me and I’d love for you to make your own experiences, so why don’t you just what worked for me? Let me guide you.

After having explored how to feel your body and understand your mind, you’ve now made it to part 3 of my holistic approach ‘Heal your soul’. When you’ve already been following my work as Life & Business Strategist, then you’ll know that I love the healing power of natural essential oils from dōTERRA . For me, it’s all about integrating them into my daily life to benefit from its health promoting properties, on a physical, mental and emotional level.

What do you think is yet again the most important requirement to heal your soul? Yes, that’s right. It’s self-love. In my opinion, self-love is key to your life, as it forms the base to your wellbeing. Because how can you feel your body, if you don’t start talking to yourself nicely? How can you understand your mind and observe your thoughts, if you are running away from yourself? How can you heal your soul, if you don’t love yourself for everything that you are?

Do I have bad days? Yes. Do I have days where I’m too hard on myself? Yes, I do. Do I have days where I don’t understand myself? Sure. And do I face days where tuning into my body is coming too short? Of course. You know why? Because I am a human being and so are you. It is part of life to go through cycles, up and down. Better days and worse. At the same time, I do notice my behaviours, as I’m continuously developing my mind and I observe my thoughts and behaviours.

To facilitate your self-love journey as well as supporting you with tuning into your body, understanding your mind and healing your soul, I’ve pulled together a powerful three-step oil routine for you that works perfectly holistically. Following this routine on a daily basis supports you in accepting and loving yourself more; it helps you let go of untruths and limiting beliefs which in return means you have the power to reconnect and reveal your true self; and it encourages you to express yourself and speak your truth so that you can come back to who you really are.

Are you just as excited about this as I am? Then follow this simple, yet powerful routine:

  1. OIL OF SELF LOVE: Put one drop of Bergamot oil into your palm, rub gently, then inhale and exhale deeply for three times with your eyes closed. Relax and enjoy the uplifting properties of this oil.
  2. OIL OF TRUTH: Put one drop of Frankincense oil into your palm, rub gently, then inhale and exhale deeply for three times with your eyes closed. Relax and enjoy the spiritually connecting properties of this oil.
  3. OIL OF COMMUNICATION & CALM: Put one drop of Lavender oil into your palm, rub gently, then inhale and exhale deeply for three times with your eyes closed. Relax and enjoy the calming, expressive properties of this oil.

Understand your mind

What is central to this blog post is self-love. Self-love is the most important ingredient for you to live a successful, healthy and happy life.

Briefly think about Indian curry. Would you ever consider cooking that dish without curry? I don’t think so. So, really think about self-love as the single most important thing that you can’t live without. Because believe me, you really shouldn’t.

With this blog post I want to encourage you to become aware of your thoughts and emotions. Afterwards it’s important to express these in order to let them go. Lastly, it’s essential to bring your thoughts and emotions into movement (emotion = energy in motion), so that everything that you are can flow again. We are meant to flow, our energies are meant to flow, our whole life is meant to be in flow.

You have to understand that you can train your mind to be a successful mind.

If I speak about ‘success’, I don’t relate to ‘success’ in classic terms, I mean success on your terms, in whatever area of your life, for example work, relationships, partner, health, free-time etc.

So, whichever areas in your life you consider important, please be in the knowing that you have the power to train your mind to be successful.

You are the creator of your dream life.

Once your mind is trained to success, once you are ready to see the positive, yet handle the challenging, your successful mind will give you findings, insights and inspirations.

Make your mind your best friend – with awareness and through findings. Because then you will be able to use your mind instead of only possessing it.

Use your mind, don’t only possess it.

Feel your body

The central thought for this article is self-love. Awake to the knowing that a successful body gives you energy and lightness.

Be aware and know that your body is there for your wellbeing. Treat your body accordingly. See your body as your friend, your best friend.

  • Observe how you talk to your body. Would you talk like this, if it was your best friend’s body?
  • Observe how you look at your body. Would you look at it like this, if it was your best friend’s body?
  • Observe how you feel in your body. Would you like it, if your best friend felt like this in her* body?
*Solely for the ease of writing, I will refer to she/her without any discrimination.

I know not only from myself, but also from family and friends and even acquaintances how hard we are on ourselves when it comes to our body, be it height, weight or size. However, when our best friend complains about being too small, too tall, too thin or too big, we immediately tell that person how beautiful she is just the way she is.

Sounds familiar? Doesn’t that feel strange to you? Don’t you feel disconnected when reading this?

Now, I want you to feel amazing in your body. I want you to look in the mirror thinking ‘Wow’. I want you to look down on yourself thinking ‘Wow’. I want you to walk through life feeling connected with yourself, because you think ‘Wow’, because you love yourself. Self-love is not only key, it is the base to your wellbeing.

In order to feel your body, it is essential to tune into it. Feel, observe, and perceive any tensions that you might hold. Consciously or not. Be aware, be present, be curious. And especially, be kind to yourself. Do not fight your body, befriend it.

Do you want to befriend your body? Do you want to get guidance from me on how to tune into your body and feel your body? Then get my eBook FEEL UNDERSTAND HEAL #1 on Amazon. Just click here to receive guidance and practical exercises from me on how to get started with connecting and feeling your body. Also, attend my workshop FEEL UNDERSTAND HEAL #3 in Munich to go deeper in your personal growth journey and to take your body consciousness to the next level. If you have any questions, leave me a pink note!

Oh Yeah & Bam

Whilst starting writing this, I’m smiling to myself because of the headline of today’s blog article. However, it expresses best my current state of mind. Oh yeah & Bam describes my drive and motivation to be the best Life & Business Strategist that I can possibly be for you.

Soak it up like a sponge

In order to achieve this, I’m currently being coached by three superb coaches all over the world. In April 2018, I attended an event of JT Foxx, which took me further and further onto my personal and professional journey. I went from his Mega Speaker event in Munich to his Top 1% coaching at his house in Fort Myers, Florida, from where I just returned last week. Then yesterday I went back to where it all started 6 months ago, I attended another Mega Speaker event in Munich. Every event, every attendee, every word, every advice, I’m soaking up like a sponge. The ongoing journey helps me a lot to keep bursting mental knots. Hence, I will keep going further and I will be in Los Angeles in early November for his Mega Success event with celebrities and people attending from all across the world. I’m beyond excited to be part of this. But this isn’t it. I will also attend his 4 day event Dream Team in Munich at the end of November. When writing this, I’m thinking:

Oh Yeah & Bam.

Happiness by choice

This is one of the most exciting journeys in my life and it all kicked off at the beginning of 2015 after my 10 year relationship broke. Instead of burying my head into the sand (after some time of grief of course), I began reflecting on my life, on my job, on my relationships, on my needs and my wants. Instead of following a path that I was seemingly taking for other reasons but mine, I decided to change my life and to actively design it. I was so excited about creating the best version of myself, in all areas of my life., because I figured that success in all of these areas will eventually get me to where I want to be. Living a life that I am destined to live. Living a life in full happiness. I love naming it ‘Happiness by choice’. I choose. I decide. I have the power to design a life for me that makes me happy to live, because let’s be honest, this is what we are all striving for. Happiness. You define the term for yourself of course, but happiness is what we are all longing for, isn’t it?

It’s a process

It is so important to know though that this is a process. And the process of designing my life for results started with my intrinsic desire to change, to develop, to grow and to really become the best version of myself, meaning I needed to understand who I was. What I am getting at is, if you are at a point in your life, where you crave change, then take your time. It is a process. This might not be a satisfying thing to hear, but patience, the will to keep going, to do whatever it takes, to keep learning, to keep growing is a continuous milestone. Once I surrounded myself with like-minded people, things also started to get easier, opportunities have been arising ever since, my mind is getting stronger every day and things are happening for me!

Obstacles are your teacher

Have there been obstacles along the way? Hell yes. Many. Be it financially, be it with certain friends and also with family, where I didn’t quite feel the support I would have loved. Then there were mental obstacles on my side, where I did not really allow myself to go fully in, probably because I was afraid. Once I understood that every obstacle, every comment, every negativity, every trigger is my teacher to go even deeper and further, this is when the biggest insights came to me, when I was able to heal relationships, when I could let go of unnecessary bullshit. This was when I was finally able to start the process of rising to the best version of myself.

The best version of yourself

My best version means being grounded, aligned and awake, knowing who I am, what I stand for, what my values are, what my vision is and to live every day in happiness. The pic I chose stands exactly for that:

Oh yeah & Bam.

Yours Nina

Life is a mental challenge

If you follow me on social media, you will know that I spent a week in Fort Myers, Florida, to be coached by JT FOXX, the world’s #1 wealth coach. The programme that I’m currently doing is called Top 1% coaching, which includes a 3-day coaching training at one of JT Foxx’s houses and I chose to go to Florida. The house was all about creating an experience for all participants and working on a strategic level. I will also have a 4-day coaching training in Munich at the end of November, where the focus will be more on the implementation and execution of the strategic aspects discussed in Florida.

But first things first: I arrived a couple of days before the training started and spent one day in Naples, about an hour’s ride away from my hotel in Fort Myers. I absolutely loved the vibe of that town, everything was pretty, I loved the wide streets surrounded by palm trees and the way towards the beach was getting more and more beautiful. If it hasn’t become clear by now, let me tell you just how much I love the beach & the ocean. I’m sure in my previous life I lived by the beach, because otherwise I really cannot explain myself this strong sense of coming home.

My breath slows down, time stands still and I’m filled up with a flood of happiness.

The next day I went down to reception wearing my wristbands and instantly of course another woman recognised them which meant we got talking right away. Nice start! We – a group of approx. 40 people – were picked up at the hotel and taken to JT’s house. Conversations in the lobby were already on a high and they continued up until the coaching started at JT’s house at 9am.

Life is a mental challenge.

My biggest takeaway was that life is a mental challenge. I hold the power to train my mind to be a successful mind. And so do you. If you want to live a successful life and be happy from within, you better have the right mindset. In JT’s coaching the most important points repeatedly popped up, which I’m going to share with you here for your personal growth.

  • No excuses. The less excuses you make, the more success you will have. If you come up wth excuses, question them. Ask yourself, why you bring this up, are you scared of that next step? What exactly are you scared of? Or is this actually not important enough and that’s why you are not getting it done? At the end of the day, you will get it done, if you really want to do it. You will find a way to make it happen. If not, don’t bother and don’t spend time on it. I can so relate to that. I regularly find myself making excuses, but most importantly I notice it and I act on it, one way or another.
  • Trust, but verify. I’d like to say, trust and verify. No matter if in private or in business, ensure that you trust the people around you and that you verify the information you get from others. As I explain in another blog post, everyone sees the world through their lens, hence the perception of realities differ and consequently, so do information that are being passed on to you. So, in addition to trusting the person providing you with info, why not checking and verifying for yourself? Knowing that everyone applies their own filter. Just think numbers, gossip, recommendations, etc.
  • Be positive. That’s one of my favourites. When comparing my today’s self to my younger self, then I can proudly say that I’ve made a massive shift towards positivity. Whilst in the past I might have been caught up in some (mental) drama, I now avoid the drama and focus on positivity instead. I also noticed it’s because I don’t have time for drama anymore, I don’t have time for bullshitting anymore and I also noticed it is a waste of time. Dear readers, if you do resonate with this paragraph, I ask you to watch yourself. You have to understand that living a positive life is your decision just like happiness is. So, ask yourself and answer honestly: Who am I? Who do I want to become? What are my values in each area of my life?

Happiness by choice.

If you’ve been following my work regularly, then you’ll know that I truly believe that happiness is a choice. I can choose happiness every day. I did it, I do it and I am doing it.

What do you choose?

Yours, Nina

Feeling aligned

I am feeling really good, inspired and energised lately, so the following question came to my mind:

Is this what it feels like to feel aligned?

So, I observed my thoughts and feelings more intensively over the last weeks. Sitting here right now writing this, I realise ‘Yes, that’s it, this is what feeling aligned means to me.’ These last two words, however, are critical, as you will experience a feeling of alignment differently than me. Nevertheless, I want to share my perspective on this feeling, as I’ve been able to experience it in such a positive and life-changing way.

I noticed that thoughts are simply the children of my emotions, meaning I’m in a positive mood and emotion, so my thoughts tend to be more positive. However, it also works the other way round, being in a negative mood means I’ve been thinking more negative thoughts. Now here’s the problem of this vicious circle. Let’s turn it around. If I have negative thoughts, a negative emotion is very likely to follow, and again it also works for my positive thoughts inducing positive emotions. So, here’s what I’m saying:

Be aware of your thoughts. They are the children of your emotions.

I happily noticed that I hold the power to shift this happening, that I can decide to think positively, that I can do mind and body work to allow this shift to happen. And I made it happen and I still do every day. Over the last years, I observed my thoughts, I observed my feelings, I questioned them, I tracked them back, I simply allowed myself to truly feel myself without avoiding, without fearing, without ignoring.

You hold the power to make this shift happen.

I understand more and more, how important it is to give things time. Because time is a good revealer of what’s really true.

Time is a good revealer of what’s really true.

What I mean is, if something bugs me, if someone makes a comment that triggers me, if I feel angry, sad or confused, I don’t instantly react anymore (there are exceptions of course, I’m just a human being). I give my best to let this feeling run through me and to give it time to rest. When this feeling really settles somewhere within me, I can still react, but if it doesn’t settle, then why react, right? Because my reaction would have required my energy and the more I think about it, the more stupid it is to instantly react to things.

Be aware of your energy.

Another thought that sticks around with me is that I truly believe that things happen for a reason. So, if something unpleasant happens in my life, I really try my best these days to remind myself that there must be a good reason for this, that this is a sign of the universe that something even better is just waiting for me around the corner. So, I decided to stop feeding these fires, that drain me, that I cannot change anyways, and to rather focus on the things that I can change and that I can feed with love instead.

Stop feeding the fire. Feed love instead.

And yes, probably the most important topic for most of us, myself included, is letting go. I  let go of being right; rather I remind myself that my reality is not the same as someone else’s, so the term ‘being right’ doesn’t appear reasonable anymore. It is always a matter of perspective. That’s it. Don’t hold on to thoughts, emotions, things, people, opinions; they change, they evolve, they flow, they develop, but they never stand still, so I decided to let go of being right and instead to bring my attention to what comes afterwards. Also, and I know it’s ironic, but most of the time when I cannot let go, it is definitely time to let go. Maybe you can resonate.

Let go of being right.

The topic of letting go brings me to my beloved topic ‘Alignment’. Because I perceived that if it’s aligned with me, whatever it is, a job, money, a partner, a guy, a friend, it will stay. It will f***-ing stay. It’s all about trust. When I trust life, when I trust the universe, when I understand that I am a connected human being and not on my own in this beautiful world that I live in, then the universe conspires to bring me joy, lightness, happiness and alignment. In a feeling of trust, I don’t have to grip to people or things, I don’t have to control anything, I can simply let go and trust that with letting go, my life will start shifting to the better.

If it’s aligned, it’ll stay.

When I’m feeling aligned, I talk about a feeling of greatness & inspiration. I feel strong and energised. In a state of alignment I trust that everything will come to me when the time is right and when I’m ready to receive it. When feeling aligned, I feel the power within me that I am the creator of my dreams and my dream life.

You are the creator of your dream life.

I feel so blessed that as a result of my alignment and faith, I published my first eBook ‘Feel Understand Heal #1 – Reveal your true self.’ In this eBook I help you start your inner journey to reveal your true self. I want the expression ‘Be Yourself’ to be the guideline for your life, because you can only be truly happy, when you know who you really are.

Living a life in full alignment and happiness is the commitment we, I, you should give ourselves, don’t you think so?

Yours, Nina

The good practice

Inspired by the yoga retreat with Elena Brower and Ally Bogard in Italy, I have realised even more so, how important the good practice is. You might wonder what I mean and this is exactly what this blog post is about.

What does good practice mean?

First of all, it means that you develop an inclination to do the things that are good for you. The good practice also means that you develop infinity for the good things in your life. Also, it means raising the luminosity towards yourself and others, even the people you don’t like (to phrase it cautiously).

The good practice entails developing self-knowledge as the key ingredient. If you don’t know who you really are, if you don’t know what is good for you, if you don’t know the core values you are living by, if you don’t know what’s draining you, then you’ll most likely struggle with your energy management, which in return means you are not in good practice.

However, if you do know who you are, if you know what is good for you, if you know your core values and if you already got rid of the things that are draining you, then that’s great, because that means that you are on a good way to the good practice.

The practice doesn’t stop here though, because let’s be honest. You will only truly know, if you are in good practice, in balance and in your higher self, when something comes up that does not feel good to you.

This is the crux.

When life happens without any problems, then probably all of us are in good practice. However, what really matters is how we react and act, when there are problems in our lives. And of course we all face problems, challenges, difficult situations, fights etc. in our lives.

So, the most critical question you need to ask yourself is: How does that make me feel? Where do I feel this in my body? How do I react, when this problem arises? How do I act? Am I impulsive or considerate? Dramatic or realistic? Do I want to be a smart ass? Do I feel neutral about the problem or negative-aggressive?

I have noticed over the last months that if I am in good practice, I am more conscious about my own behavioural patterns and beliefs, I get to know myself more, meaning I developed a better and quicker intuition for what is good for me and what isn’t. This in return means I am more aligned with me and my true self, I feel more balanced and the time I spend in my higher self has massively increased.

My good practice consists of yoga, personal development, mindset work and using essential oils on a daily basis. Consistency is key here! My good practice enables me to tremendously shorten the time that a problem annoys me. I get over it way quicker. I also noticed how I can distance myself from draining situations better and faster. Either I literally walk out of a situation, if I don’t feel this is worth discussing or fighting or I visualise the distance to the problem situation whilst I am actually in it. This helps me to react and act with the right amount of energy and clarity. I love that.

Also I let things ‘simply’ run through me without giving it my energy. It is my energy and hence I decide who and what to give this to. My energy is very valuable to me, so I won’t waste it on situations anymore that are not worth it. I decide if and how to react and if and how to act. It is my choice!

Your energy is valuable. Decide where you use it.

Be aware of the ingredients to your being, meaning look at what you are practicing in your life.

To conclude: When something that doesn’t feel good to you, seizes to feel good, then you are in good practice.

Yours, Nina

Change the metaphor

Inspired by the magic yoga retreat in Italy with Elena Brower and Ally Bogard. Thank you for all that you are and bring into this world.

Are you feeling stuck? Do you feel out of balance? Does life appear extreme to you at times? Does that exhaust you?

Then it’s time to change the metaphor!

Our life and how we live it, is based on our culture, education and interpretations which over time develops a certain belief system, a thinking pattern, eventually our reality of life.

This reality of life, however, is not generally valid. Your reality is not mine, just like my reality is not the same as anyone else’s. We all perceive life through a certain lens, subject to the stage of life we are in or moving through at the moment. The good news is the lens is changing and adaptable, and you can change and are adaptable. So, at all times in your life, you have the power to look through a different lens. You hold the power to experience life differently, i.e. not stuck, but in flow. Not out of balance, but balanced. Not in extremes, but on the middle lane. Not exhausting, but empowering.

Isn’t it incredibly powerful to know that you hold this power within you?

Do you want this power back?

Then follow this 3-step-programme.

5 4 3 2 1, GO!

Step 1: CLEAR OUT

The first step of clearing it all out is so critical. Imagine a full glass of water. When it is full, no more water can be added. It runs over. It is the same with our body, mind and soul. When it is too much, it’s simply too much and we cannot absorb nor process anything else. This is because we hold on to things, that we don’t need anymore. Our energy that should ideally be running through our body and mind freely, stagnates. We’ve stored (disruptive) energy that we don’t need any more in the body, we’ve stored thoughts that we don’t think any more in our mind, and we’ve stored things that we don’t feel any more in our heart. This is all taking up space in your water glass. So, clear out the energy that you don’t want or need anymore, clear out the tensions in your body. Let it go. Make some space in your water glass.

Examples: Negative energies from others. I am not loveable. Tense money mindset.

WRITE IT DOWN.

Step 2: NOURISH

The second step is equally important. When it comes to personal growth, you might want to think about your growth and how you can become the best version of yourself. So, after clearing it all out, my question to you is:

What are you nourishing?

What is it that you want for yourself in life? How do you want your life to look like? How do you want to feel? What do you want to invite into your life? Which energy do you want to feel?

Examples: I deserve success. I am loveable no matter what I achieve. I always do my best in every given situation.

WRITE IT DOWN.

Step 3: HARMONISE

After defining the things for your clear out and your nourishment, it’s time to harmonize. This third step is all about inviting it in. Invite the new energy that you want to be on. Invite the feelings that you want to feel. Invite the new frequency that you want to feel. Harmonize your new energy and frequency in your body, in your mind and in your heart. Introduce the new pattern into your life, no matter what. Vibe your own freedom by inviting it all in. You deserve this. You deserve to be happy.

Examples: I’m loveable no matter what. I am successful with my business. I let difficult situations run through me.

WRITE IT DOWN.

Remember:

If you are stuck, change the metaphor. Change the question you ask and you’ll see a new answer. Change perspective. Look through a different lens. If you don’t know what is right (yet), switch into ‘Let’s see’ mode and gift yourself time. Go through life from moment to moment and adapt the lens whenever necessary.

You’ll notice just how colorful life is. Enjoy the ride!

Yours, Nina

Start walking for your dreams

Interviewed by Dominik Hoffmann @WasHeldentun

I want to share another beautiful and inspiring interview with you. The interview is in German, so I will summarise the most important insights and key learnings for you through this blog post:

Start walking for your dreams.

My message from the bottom of my heart to yours: Start walking for your dreams. I want to encourage you to live in alignment with your true self, so that you can live a happy and fulfilled life from the inside out.

What do you truly want for yourself? What is your message to the world? Write it down on a (pink) post-it or several post-its and put them onto your mirror in the bathroom. No chance you’ll oversee that and hence you’ll be reminded of your message at all times.

Reconnect

We are all unique; we all have something beautiful to share with the world. If you don’t know what that would be at the moment, then reconnect with yourself. We all actually know who we are, however the challenge we are facing is that this awareness of our true self often gets lost and so over time we forget who we really are. You can visualise this as a dusted diamond. It is (still) shining underneath, but you need to de-dust your diamond in order to go back to your true self, to who you really are.

Want it

You really must want this though. If you don’t feel the desire to change your life to the better, if you don’t want to transform, if you don’t want to live a lighter and happier life, then it’ll be impossible to de-dust your diamond, so developing a real desire is key to your success.

Be brave

I know that we are surrounded by so many rules and regulations, by family and friends, by their expectations, by their desires. However, imagine this as a very tight suit (or dress) – wouldn’t that make you feel really uncomfortable and restricted? Wouldn’t you want to set free? Do you realise just how tight that suit is and how it restricts you from living the life you truly want to live? Yes? Then the suit will explode pretty soon and that is okay. Dare to step out of what is supposedly the norm. Be brave and start walking your path, not someone else’s. Question and reflect the existing. Because only then will you able to de-dust your beautiful diamond back to the shining bright light, that it used to be.

Start your personal development

Why? Because once you tune into your body, once you start observing your thoughts, once you feel your emotions, you’ll gradually de-dust your diamond and you’ll have beautiful Aha-moments. And you’ll realise that there are things within you that you want to look at. Because this thing is basically shouting at you. It wants to be seen, it wants to be set free. Trust me, this process is beautiful.

Create your dance for your life

I have the feeling, no, I know that everyone holds something very special, something that is only waiting for you to set it free. This is an active process, this doesn’t just happen, but if you truly want to transform and if you want to dance through life, then personal growth is the fundament that you need to build on. And from there, you can go anywhere. If you follow me on Instagram and read my other blog posts, then you will know that I am a passionate dancer. It is the one thing that has always – since I can think of – been within me and whilst I’ve been dancing almost all my life, I got a different understanding of the word ‘dance’. Dancing is not only about taking the right steps in the right order, it is about creation, putting your true self into these movements and aligning them with the rhythm of your life.

How you transform

I strongly recommend connecting with your body and tuning into your body, especially yoga helped me a lot to feel my body on a deeper level. It helped me to observe my thoughts, even though I came over thoughts that I really didn’t want to listen to. Painful thoughts. Sometimes shocking. Sometimes just ‘stuff’. I wondered ‘Is this really me?’

However, trust me, if you want to transform, there is no way around feeling all of it. You need to let it all come up again, so you can look at it and then process it on different levels, be it physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually.

But isn’t it great to know that you hold the power to observe and control your thoughts? Isn’t it amazing that you are a human being who can change massively by taking that first step of being aware?

Are you ready, but need help?

If you want to change your life, start walking. Reflect yourself, visualise your dreams and start walking for your dreams. I am more than happy to facilitate that first step for you. Come into my workshop FEEL UNDERSTAND HEAL #2 to feel your body, to understand your thoughts and to heal from within.

Yours, Nina

Yay or nay?

We all know this feeling of being torn between one or the other option. We can’t decide. Maybe we don’t want to decide. Often we fear the consequences of our decisions.

Do you know this feeling, too? You sure do… And don’t worry, it’s okay, it’s human.

However, I wouldn’t write this article if I didn’t have some inspirational thoughts for you on how to approach the decision-making process and how to go from a blurry Yay and Nay to a clear Yes and No.

Build awareness

The most important thing for you to understand is – like always when it comes to personal growth – that you bring awareness to yourself, so that you notice when you struggle taking a decision.

Every single person on this beautiful planet has the opportunity and power to influence what’s happening and not happening in their lives.

You are holding the wheel.

Whilst of course you cannot and shouldn’t control everything in your life, isn’t it great to know that you hold the power to influence your reaction in certain situations and that you have the power to take action accordingly? Now taking action requires making a decision. And making a decision requires courage.

Create your life

Tell me, isn’t it great to know that you are the creator of your life? Isn’t it a good feeling to know that you can influence how your life is going? Isn’t it great that you hold the power to change your life to the life you truly want to live by taking decisions?

^Doesn’t that knowledge make the act of taking a decision attractive to you? Isn’t this such a relief?

Decide now

Think about it, if there’s anything that you are not happy with in your life at the moment, be it your relationship, a friendship, your health or something career related, then you must take a decision on how to change this immediately. Do not postpone it, act now!

The more decisions you’ll take the better you get in it. It’s the same with exercising. For example, the more you practice yoga, the more you’ll improve, as your muscles become stronger and your mind calmer. It’s exactly the same with your “decision muscle”.

Train your decision muscle.

If you are continuously training your decision muscle, you’ll notice how much easier it becomes to take decisions, how much quicker you’ll reach a decision and how much time you’ll save by not going back and forth, but instead to clearly say YES or NO to situations and opportunities in life.

Stand by your decision

Most importantly though when it comes to taking decisions is to stick to your decision, once it’s been made and to know that there’s no such thing as a wrong decision. There is nothing like failure. There is either results or learning. Once you really truly believe that every decision you take holds a massive opportunity for your learning and your growth, you’ll not agonise about the “What ifs”.

If you want to be truly successful in all areas of your life (and I don’t refer to your career only), you have to take decisions quickly and you have to trust that no matter what happens there is only results or learning.

Live your life

Never forget that you hold the power to live the life you truly want to live. Go get it. Be aware. Self-inquire. Reflect. Ask yourself ‘Who am I?’ and then start walking your way to pure happiness from the inside out.

Yours, Nina
