Date with Brooke Shields

In the week of 5th November I attended JT Foxx’s Mega Success event in Anaheim, Los Angeles with 2,500 people from all around the world, eager to learn, keen to grow, ready to design their life for the results they want to see. Because let me remind you, the life that you live, it’s your life and everything you do or you don’t it’s your decision. And as I’m learning and learning, growing every day, I have understood, deciding eliminates fear.

When we decide, we can move forward; when we don’t decide, we get stuck, we overthink, we might fear the next step because of our overactive mind. Then we often get frustrated over various things, having overthought a situation, having been too fearful of the next step, yet then we regret not to have done something. We always regret the things we haven’t done, so think twice next time.

  • Do you say yes or no to an opportunity?
  • Do you decide or let fear win?

Deciding eliminates fear.

I keep taking action, I keep making decisions every single day and you should, too. I don’t talk about all the tiny decisions we have to take every day, no I mean the decisions that could be life-changing for you, the decisions that can get you started on living the life you truly want, the decision FOR YOU.

Decide for you.

It is so worth it, trust me. After all, my actions and my decisions led me to the absolutely amazing opportunity to meet Brooke Shields (actress, model, entrepreneur) in Los Angeles. Not only did I meet her, but also I was up on stage in front of 2,500 successful, international entrepreneurs to have a fantastic conversation with her about success when it comes to health and wellbeing.

After my interview with this beautiful woman inside out, I recorded a video for you because I wanted you to feel the energy that I got from that interview, from that moment up on stage, a pure state of happiness. Here’s the link to my video recorded live in LA straight after the interview with Brooke Shields.

When I was a child, I always wanted to become an actress, moderator, travel reporter or a dancer; all things active and agile, travelling, exploring. I knew I wanted to be free like a bird, I also already knew I wanted to do my own thing, but most importantly I wanted to be happy. What I find most interesting is that all of my childhood dreams have one thing in common and that is serving and helping others.

The beautiful thing is – although I might not be an actress or reporter – this is exactly what I do as Life & Business Strategist. I have worked on myself to become a better, mentally healthier and consequently happier person. And now I get to help people connecting with themselves, revealing their true self and designing the life that they truly want to live. And this makes me happy from within and I know it will make you happy, too, when you are ready to take action and walk that path of happiness.

  • Are you ready to work on your body, mind and soul?
  • Are you ready to actively design your life?
  • Are you ready to go after the results you deserve?

Lots of love, yours Nina

Arise to success

When you follow me on social media, you’ll know that I spent almost two weeks in the USA. I traveled there for the business event of the year, Mega Success by JT Foxx. Afterwards I traveled to Chicago to explore a new city, and I loved it. Hence I do apologise for the missing blog post last Friday, however I hope you were catching up with me on Facebook and Instagram.

As a wise person said to me more than once ‘There’s room at the top. It’s the bottom that is crowded.’ (JT Foxx)

On that note let me encourage you to arise to your success. I have learned over the past years that my definition of success has changed. This is only natural, since we all grow and change every day, some faster, some slower. What I have also learned is:

Success is an inside job.

Success arises from within plus by you taking the necessary steps continuously. This is called self-responsibiity, no excuses, no reactions, only actions.  You can manifest your dreams the entire day, however if you don’t take action towards your dreams, they will be gone in no time.

Manifestation + Action = Success

You have the power to design your life for the results you want to see.

  • Want to feel your body? You can have it.
  • Want to train your mind to be positive? You can have it.
  • Want to feel holistically aligned? You can have it.

Design your life for the results that you want to see. What does success mean to you?

I have noticed over the past years that my definition of success has changed. That authenticity, honesty and loyalty are the most important values for me in my life when it comes to success. Having that in mind, I can do everything I set my mind to, because deep down I am myself, I am my authentic me. Success also means to me that I am becoming a better version of myself every single day. By meditating, by reading a book, by listening to audios and podcasts, but most importantly by actively listening to my inner voice and permitting me to let this voice speak to myself and others.

Because what happens if I don’t voice my voice? Well, energies might get stuck in my body or I feel like I’m not expressing myself, my feelings and what I have to say. However, expressing myself and speaking my truth is a really important life factor to succeed and be happy all around.

Let me again encourage you to speak your truth, to express your feelings and to be truly who you are meant to be. Then you can arise to success and you’ll be ready for it. I know it.

Yours, Nina

PS: The jet lag is heavily kicking in, so I will head to bed. This is a slightly shorter post than normally. Have yourself a wonderful weekend.

Bestseller on Amazon

Boom! When you already follow me on social media, then you’ll know that I have made it to Bestseller on Amazon. My eBook ‘Feel Understand Heal #2 – Design your life for results’ has made it to Number 1 in not only one, but three categories, namely ‘Spirituality’, ‘Personal Transformation’ and ‘Sports & Fitness’. I can’t even put into words how happy and proud I am. To really see and feel my happiness and excitement, watch my video on my YouTube channel.

Success

After this huge success I was asking myself “What did it take me to succeed with my eBook?” but also broadly speaking “What does it take for one to succeed?” I reflected, so that I can pass on my experience and learnings to you. I came up with the following drivers of success. It is not the full alphabet, yet I have many letters serving your success.

  • A as Ambition to succeed.
  • B as Belief. The most important thing is to believe in yourself, to truly believe that you can do this. Because you can.
  • C as Courage to do whatever it takes. C as Coach to hold you accountable.
  • D as Discipline. No success without discipline. Discipline is also about your work ethics. It is about consistency, it is about showing up, even if you don’t want to.
  • E as Energy. Bring your body and mind into a state of energy. Move your body, understand your mind and heal your soul to have the energy to succeed.
  • F as Flow. Once you are in the flow, keep going & do not stop until you’ve achieved that result you are looking for.
  • I as Inspiration. Inspire yourself to inspire others.
  • L as Love. Fall in love with yourself first to love others. Give love. Love will come back to you.
  • P as Patience. This is probably my biggest challenge. However, I know that whenever I surpass that point of impatience that BOOM things are rolling. Or when I call up my coach expressing my impatience, because he is going to be the one to push me and make me go further, so I can last longer.
  • R as Results. What do you want to achieve? What result do you want to see? My eBook holds the subtitle ‘Design your life for results’ plus this is what I am doing. Designing my life for the results that I want to see, be it professionally or personally. Be it health or relationship related. Whatever it is, ask yourself, which results you want to achieve and make them measurable, whenever possible.
  • S as Silence. In everything that is going on in our lives, it is necessary to be silent once in a while. To pause. To breathe. To be still. In the silence you’ll find your energy.
  • T as Trust. Trust that things will be working out for you. Trust that the universe has your back and helps you accomplish your dreams. Trust in yourself, in your capabilities and that life is happening for you.
  • W as Will. Without the will to excel, you won’t. Without the will to stand out, you won’t. Without the will to succeed, you won’t.

Thank you again to everyone who supported me in my endeavours, thank you to my coaches for believing in me, motivating me and pushing me to go further. Thank you to my friends, family and supporters who got my eBook. I truly hope that this book serves you to start designing your life for results. I wish you an enjoyable read. I know that I loved writing this book. I love pulling together content for you that serves you, helps you and inspires you to design your life for the results that you want to see.

Yours, Nina

Understand your mind

What is central to this blog post is self-love. Self-love is the most important ingredient for you to live a successful, healthy and happy life.

Briefly think about Indian curry. Would you ever consider cooking that dish without curry? I don’t think so. So, really think about self-love as the single most important thing that you can’t live without. Because believe me, you really shouldn’t.

With this blog post I want to encourage you to become aware of your thoughts and emotions. Afterwards it’s important to express these in order to let them go. Lastly, it’s essential to bring your thoughts and emotions into movement (emotion = energy in motion), so that everything that you are can flow again. We are meant to flow, our energies are meant to flow, our whole life is meant to be in flow.

You have to understand that you can train your mind to be a successful mind.

If I speak about ‘success’, I don’t relate to ‘success’ in classic terms, I mean success on your terms, in whatever area of your life, for example work, relationships, partner, health, free-time etc.

So, whichever areas in your life you consider important, please be in the knowing that you have the power to train your mind to be successful.

You are the creator of your dream life.

Once your mind is trained to success, once you are ready to see the positive, yet handle the challenging, your successful mind will give you findings, insights and inspirations.

Make your mind your best friend – with awareness and through findings. Because then you will be able to use your mind instead of only possessing it.

Use your mind, don’t only possess it.

Do you want to befriend your mind? Do you want to get guidance from me on how to train your mind? Then get my eBook FEEL UNDERSTAND HEAL #1 on Amazon. Just click here to receive guidance and practical exercises from me on how to get started with understanding your mind. Also, attend my next workshop FEEL UNDERSTAND HEAL #3 in Munich to dive (deeper) into your personal growth journey and to start your shift. Click here to save one of the last spots.

If you have any questions, leave me a pink note!

Yours, Nina

Oh Yeah & Bam

Whilst starting writing this, I’m smiling to myself because of the headline of today’s blog article. However, it expresses best my current state of mind. Oh yeah & Bam describes my drive and motivation to be the best Life & Business Strategist that I can possibly be for you.

Soak it up like a sponge

In order to achieve this, I’m currently being coached by three superb coaches all over the world. In April 2018, I attended an event of JT Foxx, which took me further and further onto my personal and professional journey. I went from his Mega Speaker event in Munich to his Top 1% coaching at his house in Fort Myers, Florida, from where I just returned last week. Then yesterday I went back to where it all started 6 months ago, I attended another Mega Speaker event in Munich. Every event, every attendee, every word, every advice, I’m soaking up like a sponge. The ongoing journey helps me a lot to keep bursting mental knots. Hence, I will keep going further and I will be in Los Angeles in early November for his Mega Success event with celebrities and people attending from all across the world. I’m beyond excited to be part of this. But this isn’t it. I will also attend his 4 day event Dream Team in Munich at the end of November. When writing this, I’m thinking:

Oh Yeah & Bam.

Happiness by choice

This is one of the most exciting journeys in my life and it all kicked off at the beginning of 2015 after my 10 year relationship broke. Instead of burying my head into the sand (after some time of grief of course), I began reflecting on my life, on my job, on my relationships, on my needs and my wants. Instead of following a path that I was seemingly taking for other reasons but mine, I decided to change my life and to actively design it. I was so excited about creating the best version of myself, in all areas of my life., because I figured that success in all of these areas will eventually get me to where I want to be. Living a life that I am destined to live. Living a life in full happiness. I love naming it ‘Happiness by choice’. I choose. I decide. I have the power to design a life for me that makes me happy to live, because let’s be honest, this is what we are all striving for. Happiness. You define the term for yourself of course, but happiness is what we are all longing for, isn’t it?

It’s a process

It is so important to know though that this is a process. And the process of designing my life for results started with my intrinsic desire to change, to develop, to grow and to really become the best version of myself, meaning I needed to understand who I was. What I am getting at is, if you are at a point in your life, where you crave change, then take your time. It is a process. This might not be a satisfying thing to hear, but patience, the will to keep going, to do whatever it takes, to keep learning, to keep growing is a continuous milestone. Once I surrounded myself with like-minded people, things also started to get easier, opportunities have been arising ever since, my mind is getting stronger every day and things are happening for me!

Obstacles are your teacher

Have there been obstacles along the way? Hell yes. Many. Be it financially, be it with certain friends and also with family, where I didn’t quite feel the support I would have loved. Then there were mental obstacles on my side, where I did not really allow myself to go fully in, probably because I was afraid. Once I understood that every obstacle, every comment, every negativity, every trigger is my teacher to go even deeper and further, this is when the biggest insights came to me, when I was able to heal relationships, when I could let go of unnecessary bullshit. This was when I was finally able to start the process of rising to the best version of myself.

The best version of yourself

My best version means being grounded, aligned and awake, knowing who I am, what I stand for, what my values are, what my vision is and to live every day in happiness. The pic I chose stands exactly for that:

Oh yeah & Bam.

Yours Nina

Momentum

When you are about to embark on a new journey, significant effort is required to get going. You need a high level of energy to get started, but once you are going, you need way less effort and energy to keep up the level of speed. However, to get to a point of ease, you need to build momentum first.

Once you’ve built momentum for your new business or project, you can gracefully continue your journey and quickly get traction toward success.

Just imagine a swing. You start moving your legs back and forth to get some movement. And then after a while, you are enjoying the swing with your legs hardly moving, you are just swinging.

Side note:

I love swings.

Are you ready to build momentum? Are you really ready to live your dream life? Are you prepared to rapidly expand into yourself? Are you ready for increased activity and change in your life?

I ask you these questions, as I know from my own experience, how much we often want to succeed at businesses, projects or whatever it may be, but we simply cannot succeed if we are not ready. And very often we aren’t ready yet. Hence, we cannot build momentum. We, our mind, our heart, our spirit, is not ready yet for full success.

In order to be truly successful, we must widen our awareness for success. We have to understand that success and momentum can arise from many different directions. It’s multi-dimensional. Success depends on expansion, growth and deeper insights as well as trusting the process. It’s not a straight line, it’s  a dynamic process that evolves over time.

Success is a dynamic process.

Oh my! Trust me, this really works. When you open your spirit, mind and heart to all ways of success, all the universe conspires to make your intention a reality.

Remove any stagnations and blocks that are still holding you back. Soften your heart to trust the process. Stand in your power. Create momentum in your life. And then enjoy the journey!

Yours, Nina

More being, less doing

If you are following me on Instagram, then you’ll know that I’ve just returned from a trip through Cambodia and that I spent 2 weeks in a yoga & meditation retreat in Kep, in Vagabond Temple. I will write a separate article about my travels through Cambodia and the yoga retreat, but for now I will focus on one of my biggest learnings in the last few years. Something that was confirmed again during the yoga retreat. Something that will accompany me for life.

More being, less doing.

If I had to rate where I used to be on a being-doing scale, then I’d say 9 doing and 1 being, meaning I was constantly in action, in movement, restless. I felt like I constantly had to be productive, that I had to do something, that I couldn’t just sit there doing nothing.

I questioned myself during the retreat, why that is and thought, probably because it made me feel lazy and being lazy is not accepted in our society. Wherever we go and look, there is doing, action, activity, rush, hurry, pressure, so I’m not too surprised anymore that I wasn’t able to just be, but that instead I was constantly in doing mode, in fear of being unproductive, unsuccessful and lazy. Maybe this is a fear of not being good enough, too? A fear of not being seen? Of not being acknowledged? Of not receiving validation?

If you relate with my words, maybe ask yourself as well, why you do so much and why you are so little.

Now, being on my path of personal development, I have adapted the scale of being and doing. More being, less doing. It’s important to say at this point that doing is not a bad thing, we need to do in order to progress, but it is equally important for us to be, to process, digest and grow. The critical point is, as often in life, to be conscious about our being and doing and to find balance between the two.

Imagine that your head represents doing and your heart is being. When you do, allow your heart and your soul to follow. When you are, invest the energy you gain into doing.

Find silence when needed. Step into action when required. Then rest. Allow yourself to simply be. Listen to your body, it talks to you.

If you acknowledge being and doing of the same value, then you will feel more balanced, at ease and more relaxed, which ultimately leads you closer and closer to your true self.

Yours, Nina

Encouraging Stories

© Organisation: Katarina Marevic Schmieder, Mutgestalter 1.0 / © Photo: Marija Krolo / kroloma

It all started with a message from my friend Kata asking “Are you free on the 22nd February or 7th March?” I replied “Yeah, the 22nd would be good. Why?” No reply.

Only in the evening, she texted again “OK, I did it. I’ve organised an event and just put it through Eventbrite. You will be one of the speakers at the event. It’s about encouraging storytelling.”

Wow. One of my goals was just about to become real.

I replied “Wow, that’s amazing. I feel honoured that you want me to tell my story at the event. Thank you for providing the platform. I’m in, but definitely with great respect.”

So, on the 22nd February I would be speaking about my story, my travels through Latin America and my inner journey. I was very excited. Cause joining an event as a speaker has been on my wish, goal and project list for a while. This is what I find so beautiful about life; just by letting go and trusting yourself and life, opportunities will be arising for you, giving you exactly what you want.

Life is working in your favour.

I’m not someone who spends ages preparing, I’m the more flexible, spontaneous type, as to me it feels more authentic, but of course I thought about the most important ‘stops’ in my life to make my story smooth and to pass on my main message.

We were 5 speakers in total and I was up 2nd. I won’t go into detail of every single story, but I will share with you what all stories had in common for me.

Every single story, every single experience is so beautiful and valuable, even if it doesn’t feel like it when you are just overrun by a situation.

It was lovely speaking about my personal journey again, as it enabled me to re-live certain aspects, to reflect on them again and to share my insights with our very nice guests. The atmosphere was casual, open and loving, just like in a living room. I felt absolutely comfortable in this safe environment, and yet we all had to leave our comfort zone just a tiny bit. Speaking in front of people doesn’t make me nervous, I always had to do marketing presentations in front of bigger audiences, but with it being such a personal presentation of our lives, emotions and experiences, definitely made it an event, where even I had to breathe deeper before I started speaking. I was vulnerable.

I felt very good whilst sharing my story, apparently too good, haha, since I spoke way longer than I had originally planned. See, this is why I don’t prepare as much, as it’s almost a waste of time for me. I’m better with just going with the flow.

Go with the flow

This brings me to my next insight. I noticed that all of our journeys were fully heart led, because deep down we knew what we had to do. Yes, there were doubts, yes there were fears, yes there were days where we wanted to give up, but deep down in our heart, we always knew the answer, to wherever our stories led us. We all knew that we must follow our heart. That we must trust ourselves and life. That we must believe that our first feeling, our intuition, is always right, and that it holds the key to our very own answer.

Courage is often the result of our heart and gut feel.

So, I encourage you to do the following:

Go out there, follow your heart and be brave!

What do you have to lose? Nothing!

What do you win? Getting closer and closer to the real you!

Yours, Nina

PS. The next events are already scheduled for the 22nd March and 19th April. Google Mutgestalter 2.0 and 3.0, if you want to be a part of this.

About openness

Openness, a topic very close to my heart.

  • Do you know what to expect in any given new situation? No.
  • Would you like to know what to expect in any given new situation? Probably yes.
  • Would you feel safer? Probably yes.
  • Is it realistic to know what to expect? No.

What do we normally do, when we are confronted with a new situation? I’d say we usually imagine the situation ahead of us. We imagine the possibilities associated with it, but most likely we fear the associated risks even stronger. It’s a mixed feeling of looking forward to something new, whilst at the same time, we are afraid of the uncertainty, we feel helpless and insecure, we feel like we don’t have the right skills or knowledge to be confronted with that situation, let alone to succeed. We are simply worried, to fail.

However, I’m sure there is always a way through that fear. The first step to take is to move that fear from the unconscious to the conscious. If you are oblivious of your fear or if you suppress it, you won’t experience the much needed impulse to change, and you cannot use the energy of fear to let it all go. But, if you make yourself aware of the fact that you are scared of a new situation, then you can be fully present and conscious in that moment of fear and you can work through it.

The most important thing for not letting fear get into your way is to be open-minded.

Being open-minded means to offer openness to new experiences and people, to be prepared to learn new things, at all times, in any given situation. It’s not about knowledge. Knowledge is relative. It is about openness.

Be open-minded and offer openness to new experiences.

Ensure you always listen to your conversational partner. Do not only do the talking yourself, but listen carefully to what your counterpart has to tell. Do not pretend to know everything already, because knowledge is relative. Show interest in your conversational partner. Maybe he/she will be able to teach you something new.

Knowledge is relative. Listen carefully instead.

There is no reason to be afraid of a new situation, especially when it comes down to, what you would call it, lack of knowledge. Knowledge can always be acquired.

What you should do though is to face that new situation with openness. Be curious and respect every person you meet along the way. Have faith and trust, because everything in life unfolds, as it is supposed to.

Turn your worries into confidence by being brave, open and by thinking positive.

You get what you expect.

Walk with positive thoughts, so that life can help you walk in the right direction.

Walk with open ears, so that you hear, what life wants to tell you.

Walk with open eyes, so that you see, what life wants to show you.

Walk with an open heart, so that you feel, what life wants to share with you.

Oh and don’t forget to smile.

Yours, Nina
